$10 For 10 Begins With Summer Camp
As we have done in past summers we will highlight one of our mission outreach program each week of summer. Sometimes we can feel like our giving doesn’t really make a difference but when we put gifts together it can make a big difference. We will begin Sunday with our Warren Willis Camp Scholarships. Our Youth and Tweens will be at camp the last week of June and the excitement is building! This is a very special time for o.ur kids to experience God in a very personal way. To help our kids go to Warren Willis Camp, mark “camp scholarship” in the memo section of a check or give online via our website to “UM Youth Scholarship”. Warren Willis Camp https://wwumccc.org/

“Common Ground” by Amberly Neese, Women’s Wednesday Study (in Person & on ZOOM) with Pastor Lisa Begins on Wed. June 2nd
Whether it is in politics, the professional world, a party, or a pew, we face conflict every day. As discussions get more heated and social media is deluged with opinion-spewing, hurt feelings, and broken relationships, we need hope and practical tools to navigate the tumultuous waters and live at peace with everyone. Fortunately, the Scriptures hold the key to living at peace despite our differences. In Common Ground, a four-week Bible study, Amberly Neese combines stories of sibling rivalries from the Bible with personal experience, humor, hope, and her love of God’s Word. This will be a hybrid study both in person and on ZOOM 9:30 am. Contact Pastor Lisa for information LStamp@newhorizonumc.com.
