Barb Amman
Century Village Campus Pastor

I began serving as a pastor in 1997 attending Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C. I returned home to Florida in 2006 and began serving a local congregation. Prior to my years as a pastor I was a practicing R.N. and Certified Nurse Midwife. I have one son, Sean. I was also an officer in the U.S. Air Force for six years and served for three of those years in the Republic of the Philippines. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and came to a committed faith in Him at nine years of age. During my senior year in high school I felt called by God to a career in nursing. I was a Certified Nurse Midwife until God called me again, this time to ordained ministry. My heart’s desire is to continue in ministry for Jesus Christ, following the leadings of Holy Spirit. I believe my spiritual gifts include Biblical teaching and a passionate spirituality that includes a deep prayer life and transformational preaching.

Michael Brim
Music & Worship
Arts Director

Michael Brim was born in Birmingham, England. His parents, who were pastors, served to influence him in his decision to serve the Lord. Michael attributes his musical talents to his father’s influence and his mother’s prayerful faithfulness. After his parents migrated to Jamaica, West Indies, he continued playing in churches and various musical groups. Over the years he has performed with groups/artists in Europe, Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. Michael has served as a Music Minister/Worship Leader at Macedonia Missionary Baptist, Faith Christian Center, Trinity Church, and St. John’s United Methodist to name a few. For him, working with people from different backgrounds and denominations brings home forcefully that worship and a true love for God supersedes cultural and/or ethnic differences. Michael has also recorded three albums. His goal is for these albums to touch lives. He wants to continue to serve God with his gifts and talent as his ministry grows. It is his desire to spread the gospel in various countries thereby bringing glory and honor to the name of the Lord. When asked to summarize what he is about, Michael states “I’m about praising him”. He further says “Since it’s about him, Jesus Christ, I will always strive to help local churches realize the importance of pure praise and worship that takes place with or without music. True worship comes from our hearts to him; and from worship comes victory”

Peytyn Tobin
Children, Youth & Family Pastor

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BA in Economics. I worked for 15 years in a professional business environment and felt God’s call to ministry. I began my own business 6 years ago in Health and Wellness and answered my call to ministry on a volunteer basis. I have worked in NHUMC’s Sunday School Program as Sunday School Superintendent and as the Education Chair Person for the past 6 years. Also, I have worked with our Youth Program and taught Sunday School for High School and Middle School for the past 5 years. I also started a Middle School and High School Girls group meeting monthly 2 years ago called “It’s A Girl Thing”.
I have a passion for children and youth and I love our kids! My personal mission is to impact the lives of youth on a daily basis helping them to know and trust in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I develop programs and environments that help young people establish and explore a solid faith in Christ. I share my faith and experience so that as disciples furthering the kingdom of God they can have an example to duplicate. I believe my purpose is to share God’s love and word with preteens, teens, and young adults to help develop confident Christian leaders who lead by faith.
