11:30 am setup. All 55+ are invited to join us. Bring a friend!
 
 

THE PUMPKINS ARE HERE – HELP NEEDED EACH DAY 9 am-DUSK

Our patch is open every day 9 am-dusk and help is needed to greet our visitors, help choose that perfect pumpkin and keep the patch tidy. There’s a task for everyone! Sign up in the hallway or call the church office.

*Help unload the pumpkin truck Saturday morning 9:00 am

Clean, dry, plastic shopping bags needed for the patch and Pack a Sack. Please leave your donation in the lobby.

 

Sub Sandwich Fundraiser Sunday, October 20th—Pre-Order Today

Forms are available in the lobby. Place your order today for pickup following worship on Sunday, October 20th. Choose your meats, cheeses and toppings!

6” sub, chips, drink $10. All proceeds are going to our ministry outreach.
 

Joy Circle Meeting Monday, October 21, 9:30-11:15 am

Join us in the Sanctuary for our monthly meeting and fellowship time. Lauren will lead the discussion on Human Dignity-Inclusion. Ladies, if you haven’t checked out this small group yet we invite you to join us.

 

34th Annual New Horizon Golf Classic & Silent Auction Luncheon Planning Session Wednesday, November 6th, 5:00 pm

The first committee meeting for the April 25, 2020 New Horizon Golf Classic and Silent Auction Luncheon will be held Wednesday, November 6th at 5:00 pm in the choir room. All are welcome to join in the planning process. Proceeds from the event go to The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home Foster Care Program in South Florida. Contact the church office for more information.

Wednesday Evening Studies

 

Nourishing Lives, Inc. – Pack a Sack Mission Project

Each week during the school year food items are given to needy elementary aged children who wouldn’t have enough to eat over the weekend. Items most needed: boxed soy milk, peanut butter 40 oz. jars, individual applesauce-fruit-jello- pudding, cereal, granola bars, and crackers. Please leave your donations in the orange tub in the lobby. Some of you have asked how much it costs to feed a child for the month.

We estimate $20 per month per student to fill their weekly bags. We are currently feeding over 120 children.
We appreciate all of your donations.
 

 

 

 

Hallandale Food Pantry

We have helped support the food pantry for over twenty years with our gift of food items each week to help feed the hungry.
