Wednesday Evening Studies

Lent Study Begins, Wed. Feb. 21st, Restored: Finding Redemption in our Mess, 6:15 pm

Often we make a mess of our lives and wonder if there is any redemption. In this book, pastor and author Tom Berlin helps us see our mess through the eyes of Christ to find redemption and restoration. Using Scripture, devotional tools, and the writings of Ignatius of Loyola, John of the Cross, St. Augustine, John Wesley, Evelyn Underhill, and others, Berlin encourages reflection and meditation through our own brokenness. Only then can we focus on the cross as the place where we truly surrender control, leave our mess, and find redemption. $11. Led by Pastor Rafe beginning Wednesday, February 21st, 6:15 pm in the Sanctuary.

Disciple I 5:30 pm dinner; 6:00-7:30 pm study
DISCIPLE is a Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. Study Old and New Testaments, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as a revelation of God. $34

Pack-a-Sack Mission Project

Each week during the school year food items are given to needy elementary aged children who wouldn’t have enough to eat over the weekend. Items most needed: boxed soy milk, peanut butter 40 oz. jars, individual applesauce-fruit-jello- pudding, cereal, granola bars, and crackers. Please leave your donations in the orange tub in the lobby. Some of you have asked how much it costs to feed a child for the month.

We estimate $20 per month per student to fill their weekly bags. We are currently feeding over 120 children.
We appreciate all of your donations.
